about.
NPS workers of Yellowstone National Park are unionizing. Together, we can make our nation's first national park a better place to work and live.

Who We Are
We are park rangers, educators, wildland firefighters, biologists, science technicians, entrance gate fee collectors, radio dispatchers, and more. We are public servants
dedicated to preserving Yellowstone for future generations and fighting for better
working conditions now.

We are organizing permanent and seasonal non-supervisory GS employees in the hopes to join our already-unionized WG coworkers.

Our Vision
We envision a diverse workforce that is valued and supported through better pay, training, and opportunities for growth. We envision a community-focused Yellowstone where workers have a seat at the table, and our voices are heard.

Why a Union?
As public servants and stewards of Yellowstone National Park, we deserve better working conditions. As a union, we will advocate for our needs as a collective. We are fighting for better healthcare, job security, better pay, gender-inclusive facilities, fair rent prices, and so much more.

How to Get There
We did it! The vote came out in favor of unionizing! Congratulations.

Next step will be forming our internal structure, nominating a president, and negotiating a contract with management.

We need you to get involved in your union. Reach out to us to see how you can make Yellowstone a better place to work and live.
